DENAZ Trading Ltd. Partnership Receives Bronze Award at the 16th Stelios Bi-Communal Awards
DENAZ Trading Ltd. is proud to announce that its long-standing partnership in the collection, recycling, and export of used cooking oil has been recognised with a Bronze Award (€25,000) at the 16th Stelios Bi-Communal Awards for Business Co-operation in Cyprus.
The awards ceremony took place on 8 June 2026 at the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation Headquarters in Nicosia, where Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou awarded a total of €500,000 to nine outstanding Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot business partnerships.
Among the award recipients were Hakan Göksan and Andreas Zachariou, whose successful collaboration in the collection and export of used cooking oil was recognised for its contribution to environmental sustainability, circular economy practices, and bi-communal business cooperation.
The event was attended by President Nikos Christodoulides, UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy Maria Angela Holguín Cuéllar, and UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative in Cyprus, Khassim Diagne, underlining the importance of initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and cooperation across Cyprus.
Since its establishment in 2013, DENAZ Trading Ltd. has been committed to the responsible collection and recycling of used vegetable oils, helping to protect natural resources and reduce environmental pollution while supporting sustainable economic development.
